The early childhood care and preschool Go2Grow application for the 2026 to 2027 school year is now open – click here to apply!
Go2Grow is an enrollment portal built for families in the Greater Charlottesville region to help them explore, compare, and apply for free or reduced-cost care and education programs tailored to children from birth to age 5.
Please note: even families who have used Go2Grow before must create a new account.
The Go2Grow application is an initiative of Ready Region Blue Ridge, which works with local Head Start programs, Charlottesville City Schools, Albemarle County Public Schools, Albemarle County Department of Social Services, and United Way of Greater Charlottesville to increase the accessibility of childcare to families in our region.
Go2Grow helps families in the following areas find and apply to childcare programs:

- Buckingham County
- Fluvanna County
- Frederick Co, Clarke Co, Winchester City (NSV)
- Greene County
- Harrisonburg & Rockingham
- Louisa County
- Madison County
- Nelson County
- Orange County
- Page County
- Rappahannock County
- Shenandoah County
- Staunton, Augusta Co, Waynesboro (SAW)
- Warren County
