Virginia Early Childhood Foundation to Launch Program in Ready Region Blue Ridge

Jul 01, 2023

In an effort to combat the childcare staffing crisis, the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation (VECF) has launched an Early Educator Fast Track Initiative to help connect early childhood centers with newly trained assistant teachers. Already successful in other regions of the state, the Fast Track program rolls out in Ready Region Blue Ridge in July 2023.

The Fast Track program’s ability to provide new educational opportunities while combating the issue of childcare staffing is extremely important, and all centers are encouraged to learn more about the program and its associated incentives.

Prior to VECF undertaking the recruitment process to help centers hire and train new teacher assistants, centers must register and contract with VECF.
